172 PAIRS OF GOALKEEPER GLOVES SOLD OUT IN 18 DAYS GENERATING £2,578.28 IN NET SALES
GluPro were looking to sell off their remaining stock of goalkeeper gloves at the end of the 2017/18 season ready for their new stock and designs to promote in the 2018/19 season. This stock needed to be sold as quickly as possible to free up funds for reordering.
With 172 pairs of goalkeeper gloves remaining we advised GluPro to have a £14.99 offer on all gloves. This works out at a 50% discount on their standard online price.
We planned a marketing strategy to encourage social media purchases, mainly on Facebook. We focused designing 4 posts with engaging artwork to promote this offer. These posts would be placed on their own social media page a long with multiple relevant groups on Facebook starting on the 9th May 2018.
We included a small paid boost on our first post of only £5 to get the ball rolling with engagement.
The Results
Our first post had a phenomenal reach and response rate within the first 24 hours reaching over 16,000 people.

This resulted in 493 visits to glupro.com and converted to 107 pairs of goalkeeper gloves being purchased totaling £1600.18 net sales within the first 24 hours.

All 172 gloves were completely sold out within 18 days with 150 of them purchased online through the website we have previously built. This generated a total of £2,269.75 net online sales. The remaining 22 gloves were paid in cash on collection.
